Mironia Reserva 2009 Tasting
Bodegas Peñafiel - Mironia Reserva 2009 - Ribera del Duero tasted by The Best Sommelier of the World, Andreas Larsson.
Fruit Forward, Fresh Acidity, Fine Spiciness Medium intense colour, ruby-red. Quite an attractive nose, straight forward on the fruity side with quite ripe fruit, a mix of plum, with red and dark berries. There is no noticeable oak there really. Made in a slightly juicy and fruit forward style. Some carbonic maceration perhaps. Nice palate as well. Combining those freshly crushed berries, with fresh acidity. Moderate tannin, quite rounded, quite polished already in the background. No clear presence of oak. Just a fine spiciness. So a juicy straight forward version, yet with a certain structure and length. So a really good wine with a fine drinkability today.
